Protein is essential for any effective arm toning program. It plays so many important roles in the female body that close attention has to be given to its management. After all, a lack of protein quality and quantity will set back your sexy arm mission by leaps and bounds.

But not all protein is created equal.

In fact, there are some types of protein that you should avoid at ALL costs. So here are 5 types of protein you should NOT eat when toning flabby arms:

1. Farm-raised salmon. This type of salmon has way too many toxins to warrant continual consumption. When possible, stick to wild salmon only. And try to get the fattiest cuts.

2. Protein that has been deep fried. Not only is the fat on the protein bad for you, but so are the fumes. In fact, inhaling fumes while frying meat increases rates of lung cancer.

3. Charred meats. We love big grills and big barbecues. Unfortunately, all those black and crunchy edges of meat increase colon cancer risk. So stay away from any type of meat that has been cooked to the point of blackness.

4. Fatty cuts of marbled meat. As the level of fat in meat increases, the level of healthfulness decreases. Now meat isn’t inherently bad for you, it’s the saturated fat that causes harm. So if you can, stick to grass fed meats.

5. Thin-sliced deli cuts. The convenience of deli cut meats is cancelled out by nitrates. What do nitrates do? Increase rates of colon cancer, not good. So stick with natural sources of protein and avoid highly processed protein like deli cuts.

Choosing the right source of protein for getting rid of flabby arms will not only accelerate results but will also maintain your long term health. And getting sexy and lean arms should be a healthy process in both the short-term and long-term. So avoid the above sources of protein!

Are you concerned about what you put in your mouth? Would you like to eat better healthier food, but do not know where to start? Well you are not alone! There is nothing to worry about. Healthy recipes are now very easy and accessible. There are various ways to ensure you are eating healthy.

You are getting up. You need to get to work, to feed the kids; basically you are in a rush, as ever. You want to eat healthy but you need something quick and easy. You like the whole “breakfast sandwich” idea, even though you know it is not the best thing to feed your body first thing in the morning… Well here is a fast alternative that will provide you with the nutrients your body and soul needs!

So for your next breakfast, try this: 30g of whole grain cereals and 175g of yogurt mixed together, with 125ml of orange juice on the side. You don’t like orange juice? Not a problem! You can substitute for your choice of vegetable of fruit juice, as long as it is 100% pure. You can also add as many fresh fruits as you want to your breakfast. For even more delicious nutritious, add in some scrambled eggs. Now that is a quick and nutritious morning!

These meals might not seem like enough to you at first, but as you go through the day, you will feel full and energized, because your body will actually be getting the vitamins and nutrients it needs. If you also are in a hurry for lunch, no worries! There is a solution to everything.

Blend together some tuna, fat free mayonnaise and some shredded cheese or your choice to make your own tuna spread. See? It is as simple as that! These healthy recipes are just an example of what you could eat. If for any reason you do not like what is suggested in those, here is a simple tip to remind you of what consists of a healthy meal. You should pick 3 food groups for a healthy breakfast, and 4 for lunch.

Now I understand that dinner can be a bit puzzling. You probably aren’t alone, and you have the kids to feed or a husband to feed as well. Well why not make this an opportunity to teach them some new habits! A child’s growing body needs to be fed well. So this might be your chance to teach your family how to feed themselves better.

For example: 1 lb of boneless chicken cut into strips, 1/4 cup of fat free Italian dressing, 2 cups of frozen of fresh mixed vegetable of your choice and 1 teaspoon of light soy sauce. Fry the chicken and dressing in a large skillet, add the veggies and soy sauce and fry for another 5 minutes. Dinner ready to eat for four! Have any leftovers? Why not make them the next day’s lunch and save yourself even more time!

Try to keep an open mind and stay creative when trying some new healthy recipes. Nothing is impossible, and you will slowly but surely get more and more confident in your new found cooking skills. Eventually, mixing ingredients together will come naturally. Until then, feel free to surf the net, or get a new cookbook to inspire you!

I’ve always been a soda junkie. On any given occasion, my beverage refrigerator is often loaded with all sorts of liquids, some of which I’ve never even tried in the past.

Anything can seemingly get my interest as soon as it finds its place in store shelves, and I’ve perpetually been adventurous when it comes to this. Whereas the majority of new drinks which I try wind up being flops, there are invariably a few which work out really nicely.

Here are four drinks which will stand out to you if you have the same type of preference that I do. They’re all a little varied in composition, therefore hopefully one among them will end up turning into a regular in your rotation when it comes to some enjoyable beverages.

The first drink which strikes my mind may be a recent favorite of mine. I’ve never been an advocate of energy drinks, however Red Bull has released a new cola that’s not after all an energy drink. It does have a touch of caffeine from organic coffee beans, however it is but 50 percent of the caffeine content found in one serving of Red Bull and the beverage happens to taste great.

A second one that I would recommend drinking is one of the sparkling green tea drinks by Steaz. These are slightly laced with sugar, but these blends are mixed with green tea, making them a lot less unhealthy than a normal cola.

If you do not enjoy your drinks bubbly, then you might possibly be fascinated by any one of the varieties of the new flavored oxygen water, as the drink is kind of similar to Vitamin Water, only it is sweetened while not being colored. It is basically a mix of water, organic, and a touch of natural flavoring to go with it. Quite flavorful in my humble opinion.

Finally, another kind of water finding its way around shelves is coconut water, which is completely organic, sweet, & very nutritious. Check it out if you do not have a problem with some water with a a touch of a milky taste.

All of these will do when all is said and done, and I’m certain about the fact that my drink refrigerator is certain to be filled with a few more of these drinks as soon as I finish them.
